Project Goal: Develop accessible personal protective equipment (PPE) for those with disabilities and the aging that cannot effectively use standard, commercial PPE.
Target Audience: People with upper limb or hand mobility impairments/ experienced amputations (one hand functional)/ with no disability but have one hand occupied when putting on the face shield
Design Highlights:
Easy: Easily put on & off with one hand, easily align in place with magnets
Inclusive: Compatible with any transparent plastic shield and work with most frames (through 3D printing)
Reusable: Just get new films and get ready using an office hole punch
Affordable: Minimal parts made by 3D printing
