Evangeline [Diné (Navajo)] received her education at University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM (B.A. in Speech and Hearing Science) and MGH Institute of Health Professions (M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology) in Boston, MA. She currently lives and practices in the Chicagoland area in the public elementary school setting.

Etheline [Diné (Navajo)] received her education at Eastern New Mexico University (M.S. in Communicative Disorders) in Portales, NM. She works with several specialists to help clients “walk in beauty” to increase their receptive and expressive language skills per their IFSP (Individualized Family Service Plan) in Early Intervention. She provides families with strategies and techniques to use at home to promote and further enhance ways to communicate effectively.

Advisory Council

This group is made up of former Leadership Council members and founders who help advise the caucus and lend their voices to the concerns and work of the caucus. Once a leadership council member finishes their term, they may be invited to join the advisory board. The board meets with the leadership council 3-4 times per year.
