January 19, 2024:

The Rutgers Linguistics Club will host a virtual training session on Zoom for all interested high-school students. We will go over some basic concepts in linguistics, information regarding the competition and several practice problems. The session will start at 4 PM and may last until 6 PM depending on student interest.

To receive an email invitation to the training Zoom link, please complete the following form and email it to rutgerslingclub@gmail.com by January 18th at 11:59 PM.

January 22, 2024:

These two steps are REQUIRED in order to participate:

Complete NACLO registration. For "site", select Rutgers University.
Fill out the following Rutgers approval form and send it to rutgerslingclub@gmail.com.

If you didn't register by January 22, you can still visit us as a walk-in participant on the morning of January 25th. Please make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes early if possible so you have enough time to register! We do ask you to bring a parent or guardian with you so that you could sign our Rutgers participation waiver before your parents leave the library. If you don't sign the Rutgers waiver, we can't let you take the test.
