1. Data Collection and Storage
Naam Japa Pro is built with a focus on privacy. **All of your personal data, counter data, habits, streaks, and history are stored locally on your device.**
We do not collect, transmit, or store your counting data on any external servers. We cannot access your counters, and we do not require you to create an account to use the App.
2. Third-Party Services
To provide certain features and ensure the App remains free to use, we integrate the following third-party services:
Google AdMob (Advertising): We use Google AdMob to display advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect and use data (such as advertising IDs and usage data) to provide personalized ads. Expo Notifications: We use local notifications scheduled directly on your device to remind you of your daily practice. This does not involve sending data to external push notification servers.
3. Permissions We Request
The App requests the following permissions to function properly:
Vibration Control (VIBRATE): Used to provide haptic feedback when you tap on the screen or use volume buttons to count.
Alarms & Reminders (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Used to schedule your daily morning and evening practice reminders at your chosen times.
Run at Startup (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Used to successfully reschedule your daily local reminders when your device reboots.
4. Children’s Privacy
Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
5. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
