Welcome! I am an economist interested in Macro and Energy Economics, and this is my personal website.

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at St. Olaf College. I have previously worked as a Research Economist in the Economic Modeling Division at the Central Bank of Pakistan, and as a Research Associate at Texas A&M University-San Antonio.

​

My ongoing research studies the impact of energy price shocks (large movements in oil and gasoline prices) on the U.S. economy. I completed my Ph.D. in Economics from Kansas State University in August 2020 under the supervision of Lance Bachmeier.
