Q: When is election day?

A: November 7th 

Q: Will my ballot be rejected if I do not have a witness to sign when I vote by mail?

A: No it will not be rejected.

Q: What is the deadline to request an absentee ballot by mail, or online?

A: Thursday, October 27 at 5:00 p.m

Q: What is the deadline to request a replacement ballot?

A: TBA

Q: When does my absentee ballot have to be in the mail?

A: November 6th. Your ballot must be received by the registrar’s office 3 days after the election.

Q: Can I drop off my absentee ballot in person?

A: Yes. At the Voter Box: Executive Plaza 601 Caroline St. 

Q: Can I vote early in person? When?

A: Yep! From October 28th & November 4th at 9am-5pm (601 Caroline St.)

Q: When will the polls be open on Election day in Fredericksburg?

A: 6:00 AM - 7PM

Q: Where is my polling location on-campus?

ENTIRE CAMPUS: WARD 2 - Dorothy Hart Comunity Center (408 Canal St)


Q: Can I use my EagleOne as a form of voter ID?

A: Yes. EagleOne’s will be accepted 

Q: Is there a Virginia Voter Hotline?

A: Yes! (844-482-8683) 

*Opened between 9 AM - 6 PM Monday- Friday (will have extended hours closer to the election)

*On Election day 5:30 AM- 8:00 PM

Q:  What are some rules for mail in ballots?

A: Use black ink, do NOT use tape to close your envelope, and if you make a mistake call your voter registrar's office!
