1.  STUDY!  STUDY! then STUDY  A LITTLE MORE!

Here are some good links to practice exams and often other study materials:

• https://hamstudy.org/ has some great FREE help and practice exams.   It is also associated with Exam Tools, which is the software that our VE Team uses for exams.  It offers as Smart Phone App.  So you would be familiar with the layout when testing.  On a PC it's free.  The phone app costs $3.00 at the time of this writing. I would HIGHLY recommend it!

• https://www.eham.net/exams/ has easy to use practice exams

• https://hamexam.org/  has practice exams and flashcards too for all levels of amateur radio licenses.

The American Radio Relay League (ARRL)  also has a FREE practice exam site at:

 You do not need to be an ARRL member   to use this, but you do have to register for an ID.

When you are Consistently Scoring in the Mid 80%'s, you are probably ready for the exam.
