Our mentors and instructors are long-time followers of Christ.
We are active musicians with decades of experience playing in bands, leading worship, singing, and teaching. We love what we do and we teach by doing as well as by formal instruction. Though we love music, we love God even more. We want to impart both loves to others.

David loves Jesus, Donjalea, Kellen, Asher, and Rowan. He enjoys leading the Lake Highlands Church (Dallas, TX) in praise and is blessed each week to be able to work with the many gifted musicians and artists in this community of faith. He has a background in the arts (BA/design, ACU) and theology (MS/theology, ACU) and loves it when these expressions of worship come together in surprising and authentic ways.
Donjalea is passionate about authentic church. Since 1999, she has helped equip lifegroup leaders and members to function and minister in the power of God’s Spirit. Donjalea has a BA in Theatre and Voice from ACU and is pursuing a Masters Degree in Biblical Theology from Regent College. She and David have been married since 1994 and they have three fascinating children.
Jeremiah’s dad taught him how to play piano and guitar when he was 7 years old. When he attended N2Worship, he learned even more about how to play music and what worship is really about. Serving god and playing music are two of the most important things in his life. He loves helping teach other people about worship and how to play instruments!
Josh started playing piano when he was young, but his musical journey really started with N2Worship where he learned to play drums and improved his piano skills. He's loves to share those skills with others.
Daniel grew up in a musical family that sang together. Early on, he took piano and violin lessons, and then picked up guitar in college. In church, he started playing bass which has become his primary instrument. He currently plays on the worship team at church as well as in three bands of drastically different styles. What he loves about N2Worship, is seeing peoples’ musical and leadership abilities blossom as they use their gifts and talents to bless others.
Jon has taught guitar and piano for N2Worship since 2018. A graduate in Music, Computer Science and Spanish from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, he teaches at Bell County Music Studio. On Sundays he can be found leading on multiple instruments with the First Baptist Temple modern worship band. Jon has a passion for training the next generation of lead worshippers, and looks forward to camp every summer. He lives with his wife, Robin, and his toddler “JJ” in Temple.
