This Privacy Policy governs your use of the software application N-Style Widgets: Dot Matrix (“Application”) for mobile devices that was created by Next Gen Studio.

The Application is an ad-supported service. This service is provided by Next Gen Studio at no cost and is intended for use as is.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy is designed to be transparent about our practices and to comply with Google Play Developer Program Policies.

1. Information Collection and Use

We collect information to provide and improve our widgets and services. The types of information we collect depend on the widgets you use and the permissions you grant.

A. Permissions and Data Access

Our app requests the following permissions to enable specific widget functionalities. We do not sell your personal data.

Location Information (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION):

Purpose: Required for Weather widgets to display accurate local weather conditions and for some Clock widgets that display location-based information (e.g., sunrise/sunset times).

Data Use: Your location coordinates are used solely to fetch weather data. This data is processed locally or sent to a weather data provider (e.g., OpenWeatherMap) strictly for this purpose. We do not track your location history.

Contacts (READ_CONTACTS):

Purpose: Required for Contact/People widgets that allow you to quickly call or message contacts from your home screen.

Data Use: We access your contact list only to display the contacts you select on the widget. This data remains on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.

Camera (CAMERA) and Flashlight:

Purpose: Required for "Photo Frame" widgets (to take new photos for the widget) and Flashlight widgets.

Data Use: Camera data is used strictly for capturing images at your request or toggling the flashlight. Images are stored locally.

Bluetooth (BLUETOOTH, BLUETOOTH_CONNECT, BLUETOOTH_ADMIN):

Purpose: Required for Bluetooth widgets (e.g., "Buds Widget") to display connection status and battery levels of connected devices.

Data Use: We access Bluetooth status to show device information. We do not collect or store data about your connected devices.

Storage (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE, WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE):

Purpose: Required to load images for Photo/Gallery widgets and to save/restore widget configurations or backups.

Data Use: We access storage only to read files you select or to write files you create (like backups).

Alarms and Notifications (SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM, USE_EXACT_ALARM, ACCESS_NOTIFICATION_POLICY):

Purpose: Essential for Clock widgets to update strictly on time and for widgets that control "Do Not Disturb" modes.

Foreground Service (FOREGROUND_SERVICE, FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE):

Purpose: Used to ensure widgets remain active and update correctly (e.g., keeping a weather or clock widget in sync) without being killed by system battery optimizations.

B. App Interaction and Queries

Our app may query other installed packages (android.permission.QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES or <queries>) to allow you to launch specific apps (like AI assistants or Music players) directly from our widgets. We do not collect data on your installed apps for analytics.

2. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services that collect information used to identify you.

* Google Play Services: For core functionality and safety.

* Weather Providers: If applicable, location data is sent to fetch weather but is usually anonymized.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

Retention: We retain data only as long as necessary to provide the Service. Most data (like widget configs) is stored locally on your device.

Deletion: You can delete local data by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app. Since we do not maintain a central user database, uninstalling the app effectively removes your data from our access.

4. Security

We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
