History

At the 11th National N Scale Convention held in Canberra in October 2009 the delegates voted unanimously for the formation of the non-formal ‘N Scale Modellers Australia (NSMA)’ body and that it be managed by a Secretary and a Vice-Secretary (alias Webmaster and Deputy Webmaster).

The roles would be to:

  • Create and maintain a portal (gateway) website for N scale modelling in Australia, and

  • To keep and maintain general Convention records.

(following the formation of N Scale Conventions Australia (NSCA) in 2013, the second role is now maintained by NSCA)

Those appointed at the meeting were: Graham Cocks (SA) and Ian Sprent (NSW).

Current appointees are: Graham Cocks (SA) and Dacid McMorran (VIC).

International Representation

Australia is represented in the International N scale scene as NSMA is a member of INGA-NET (International N-Gauge Association NETwork), founded by N Club International based in Germany.
