Announcements:

• Due to Governor Dewine's stay at home order and social distancing guidelines, VBS will be online this summer. This is definitely not what we had in mind, but we are dedicated to making VBS a fun and educational week. VBS will be July 6-10, 2020. The theme is Rocky Railway. The youth will be assembling materials that the children will need in order to complete their bible lessons and crafts for the week. These will be available for pick up at a later date. All VBS activities will be prerecorded and uploaded to the MZ Youtube channel the week of July 6-10. I will communicate more details as we get closer to VBS week. Please use this form to register your child by May 23rd, 2020. This form will help us purchase supplies. You will be able to register up to 4 children on this form. If you need to add more, please submit a second form. Thank you!
• You may have noticed on the MZ Facebook page, I have been posting photos of our "Flat Staff." This is very similar to Flat Stanley, if you are familiar. Please encourage your child to cut out one or all of the Flat Staff and decorate them. Take us on your daily adventures and take photos. You can email the photos to me or post them in the Facebook group. Bill needs some photos for an upcoming sermon. This is a super fun activity and will hopefully make us feel more connected! Bill and I took the Flat Staff to Walmart, went on a walk and attended a Zoom meeting! Print the Flat Staff by clicking here.
• I will continue to record my Sunday School lessons and put them on Youtube. I am hoping to get better at this skill as time goes on! I have enjoyed the feedback that I have gotten thus far. Once I get a lesson recorded, I post it in our Facebook group and on Google Classroom. If you have not joined the Facebook Group, here is the link: https://www.facebook.com/groups/871740453189816/
