Project 1: "Participatory seaweed and green mussel farming in coastal waters of Cox’s Bazar for livelihood support of fishing communities"
The goal of the project is to develop and disseminate different farming techniques of green mussel and seaweeds on a pilot scale for coastal fishermen communities verifying the technical and financial feasibility of the packages, promoting the associative market development work among the producer, consumers, and different organizations, monitoring the social impact of the introduction of these new techniques, and finally facilitating the establishment of an institutional framework for this new production sector.
