My upcycled glass vessels give thrifted treasures a second life! Because these vintage and repurposed items vary in size and shape, they require special care:
Placement & Wick: Always burn candles on a flat, heat-resistant surface within sight. Keep away from drafts, pets, and children. Trim your wick to 1/4" before every burn.
The 1/2" Rule: Discard your candle when 1/2" of wax remains. Allowing the flame to burn to the bare bottom transfers concentrated heat into the base, which can cause unique vintage glass or ceramics to crack or shatter.
Inspection: Always inspect your vessel for chips or hairline cracks before lighting. Never light a candle in a damaged container.
