Wine Butler

This is the home of the Wine Butler application.

If you enjoy drinking wine and want a little assistant to help you remember Names, Countries, Grapes your personal opinion, points, price and your value of the wine this is your app. Look for the app in Food & Drink in the google play store as .

The app is still developed and there will be new features added. You can always ask for more features and they might get added.

The latest improvement is a backup to the cloud - makes it easier if you loose your phone or if you want to use multiple devices.

I cannot add all the thousands of grapes that are in Italy. Its based on the grapes from France and Germany that are the most common in the world. If you find some grapes that are not in the list write them in the opinion and then when they might be added you can change the grape to the correct and remove it from the opinion.

The opinion is a free text field where you enter all you need to remeber the wine thats not part of the things you can choose to enter.

The registration is very important. The information is linked to your email/password combination so please spell them correctly and write them down. If you do this you can take backups to the cloud and even have multiple devices connected to the same data. This means that both your phone and your tablet can update the same database. Just dont sync them at the same time since that will not work.

If you mistyped your email/password when you register just uninstall the app and install it again and you get a new chance to spell it right. If you want to change your password please send an email to me and I fix it. My email address is johan.e.davidsson@gmail.com

I raised the price and will give you 3 years free backup for a start and might extend it later on. If the app says something about not beeing able to login it can also be the backend that is temporarily down so try again next day or so.

You can take local backups and transfer yourself to other devices but the recommened way is to use the cloud and then you can even use multiple devices.
