Cold Sun
The shining sun, so beautiful yet so controversial
She burns you, it's getting hotter, oh no!
She strengthens and makes my skin shine, oh yes
Far far away yet seems so close
Lighting up every inch of earth,
Makes my heart feel so much worth
Imagine a world with no rays,
That's Right there wouldn't be one
Confused Creatures
Why is beauty such a standard,
Why are humans so picky,
Why can't humans look at all of us the same,
No dirty glances, but loving warm smiles,
No ones born picky, we learn it
We are programmed from birth,
Now we shall unlearn it and come together,
Show our true colors like an open book,
Just imagine life with no crooks
I have been consumed by the thoughts of my own mortality
As i face the inevitable
Transitioning beyond this physical reality
My fear and extreme impulses of self preservation
Leaving me confined and with my wings clipped
My firm belief in god has been my only safe haven
With the profound gratitude of my very existence ,
For which i shall not take for granted
I have finally let go, eager to go the distance
We the universe experiencing itself
I came to a worthy realization, it's all about persistence
While life is all about being enlightened
We as one cannot achieve that being frightened
Live everyday like its thy last
People do drugs to relieve the stinging
We are high off life, forgetting the inferior
Be as free as a bee, flying creatures are superior
By the time my consciousness is fully faded
I will have accepted my soul's journey,
Understanding the purpose of why i was created
