This page covers the post-Gisborne years. First at Wellington where I attended university and obtained a bachelors degree and masters degree in chemistry. Then in Christchurch for teacher training, further university study and subsequent employment as a teacher at Burnside High School. The photographs and documents for these years should be read and viewed in conjunction with the Life History files.

The same photos of Wellington embedded as a slide show accompanied by the traditional student song "Gaudeamus Igitur" ("So let us rejoice while we are young"), which I once could sing - in Latin!). Also included is a video of the near crash landing of an RAF Vulcan jet bomber at the opening of the new Wellington airport.
