This Privacy Policy applies to the TubeList mobile application (the “Application”), provided as a free service. The Application is provided “AS IS”.
The Application collects information to provide core functionality, improve performance, and enable optional account features.

Playlist and video metadata retrieved from the YouTube Data API
User account information when signing in (such as email address or phone number, depending on the selected login method)
User preferences, including age category selection (over or under 18)
The Application does not collect precise location data.
The Application requires users to provide their own YouTube Data API key to retrieve playlist and video metadata.
API keys are used solely to make authorized requests on behalf of the user
API keys are not shared with other users
API keys are not used for advertising or analytics purposes
Users may replace or revoke their API key at any time.
The Application uses third-party services to operate and improve functionality, including:
Google Play Services
Firebase (authentication and data storage)
Algolia (search functionality)
These services have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data.
The Application may display third-party advertisements.
Advertising services may collect limited, non-personally identifiable information, such as device identifiers or usage signals, to deliver and measure ads in accordance with their own privacy policies.
The Service Provider does not sell personal data and does not use advertising to restrict access to core features.
User data is not sold.

As required by law
To protect the rights, safety, or security of users or the service
With service providers that operate on behalf of the Application and are bound by confidentiality obligations
User data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the Application’s features.

Age Awareness and Children
During setup, users are asked whether they are over or under 18. This selection is self-declared and is not independently verified.
The Application relies on age-restriction information provided by YouTube metadata to apply basic content filtering where available. The Service Provider does not independently classify, review, or verify video content. Content availability and restrictions are subject to the accuracy and completeness of information provided by YouTube.
The Application is not directed at children under the age of 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child under 13 has provided personal information, they may contact the Service Provider to request deletion.
The Service Provider takes reasonable measures to protect user data using industry-standard safeguards.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
