Mythos is a music producer and mixing/mastering engineer from Plymouth - England who is dedicated to the production of high-quality tracks across a wide range of genres with a specialty and background in heavy metal. With a strong foundation in studio production and a background in compositional work for bands, cinema and games, he brings a great understanding of how good quality music should sound and how it translates across different listening environments–from intimate stereo mixes to large scale Dolby Atmos sound systems.
His work focuses on audio clarity, balance, and emotional impact on the listener. In addition to the more traditional stereo mixes, Mythos also has experience working within the realm of immersive audio, through Dolby Atmos, to create spatial mixes that enhance depth, movement, and the listener’s sense of immersion.
Whether composing a track from the ground up, refining an existing mix, or delivering a final mastered song, Mythos approaches every project with attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. The goal for every track will always be the same: to support the vision of artists that he works with and to deliver a polished, professional sound that connects with the listeners and will stand up across platforms.
Mythos has worked on many projects over the five years of being in the music industry. Below is some of the work he is most proud of:
Mixing and Mastering are just a few of the skills Mythos has developed. He also partakes in field recordings of his local area in order to capture the sounds of nature that he uses in his own compositions.
He has explored sound beyond the studio, capturing natural atmospheres that bring depth and realism to his own work. The pictures that you see are from a sound walk through Plymbridge Woods where he recorded the rich atmosphere in order to preserve the sounds for future generations to listen to and to be used within his own creative projects.
By going on these sound walks he has been able to capture the impulse responses of different areas so that the tracks he works on has unique sounding reverbs.
