On November 15, 2025, the Ukrainian International Chamber Film Festival MYTH: SOCIAL IMPACT FILM AWARD took place in the art space and bomb shelter "Vagabundo." The event was dedicated to human rights, acute social issues, and justice, with a special emphasis on the war and the lives of the civilian population during hostilities.
The program brought together films from over 30 countries of the free world, a photo exhibition by Amnesty International dedicated to Ukrainian prisoners of war and their families, a panel discussion titled "What is the Role of Cinema During the War?" featuring international and Ukrainian filmmakers, the performance "Those Who Have Touched the War," and musical accompaniment by Taras Kompanichenko and "Khoreia Kozatska."
"We created a space where art speaks when others are silent. Our festival became a thank you to everyone who supports Ukraine's resistance through cinema," commented Rodion Volkov, the festival director and founder of the MYTH Foundation.
MYTH is more than just film screenings. It became a gesture of solidarity, a platform for authors who shed light on the experience of war, survival, loss, and revival.
The festival was held in the art space "Pidzemnyi Perekhid Vagabundo" (Vagabundo Underground Passage), which also serves as a shelter. Thanks to this, the event went ahead under any circumstances—even during an air raid or blackout.
Special awards were presented during the awards ceremony:
