Let’s Break It Down: Your Norwex Contract + Rulebook
Hey team! I know we have a LOT of new people and I'm so excited to have you here! Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned consultant, this post is your go-to guide for understanding exactly what we signed when we joined Norwex USA.
There are 2 main documents that lay out our responsibilities and rights as consultants:
The Consultant Application (aka your contract)
https://cdn.intelligencebank.com/us/share/EPnB/k7A3p/obenR/original/Application+and+Agreement+US
The Policies & Procedures Manual (aka your rulebook)
https://content-assets.norwex.com/assets/NA/website/documents/compliance/Policies_and_Procedures_en_US.pdf
Together, these guide how we do business, what we’re allowed to say/do, and how to stay in good standing with Norwex. I’ve broken both down below in simple, real-talk terms
1. Consultant Application (Our Contract)
Found by logging into your Consultant Office → Resources → Search “Application.”
Here’s What It Covers:
Personal Info & Agreement Length:
You agree that you’re 18+, the info you provided is true, and your contract lasts for one year (auto-renews unless canceled).
Starter Kit Options:
You can choose from a few kits (Standard, Sample, or Join for Free). Some have sales requirements—if you don’t meet them, you may be charged for the kit.
Office Suite Trial:
You get 3 months free—then it’s $9.99/month unless canceled. It gives you your personal shopping website, newsletter tool, and customer tracking.
Independent Contractor Status:
You’re not an employee. You’re your own boss, responsible for your own taxes and business expenses.
Norwex Can Update the Contract or Policies:
Norwex can make changes to the contract or Policies & Procedures at any time. If they do, the updates go into effect 30 days after being posted in your Consultant Office. If you keep working your business, you’re agreeing to the changes.
Product & Income Claims:
You can only share what’s officially approved. No exaggerated results or “get rich quick” promises.
One Consultant Account Only:
No double-dipping. You can’t sign up under someone else, switch uplines, or create multiple accounts.
Arbitration Clause:
If there’s a major disagreement with Norwex, you agree to go through arbitration (private legal resolution) in Texas—no lawsuits.
2. Policies & Procedures Manual (The Rulebook)
Found by logging into your Consultant Office → Profile & Settings → scroll to Important Documents.
Breakdown by Section:
Section 1–7: Getting Started
You’re an independent contractor (not an employee).
You can sponsor others, earn commission, and sell anywhere in the U.S.
You can’t sell Norwex in stores or online marketplaces like Amazon or eBay.
Don’t make your own product claims or income promises.
Section 8–14: Returns, Termination, Compensation
Customers have 60 days for returns.
You can cancel your account anytime.
Don’t boost sales through fake orders or returns just to reach a goal.
You lose team and bonuses if you resign or get terminated.
Section 15–18: Advertising & Social Media
You can post about Norwex on social—but your page name must be you-branded, not “Norwex.”
You can host online and in-person parties and create your own content that follows the rules.
Don’t run ads using “Norwex” or sell on third-party sites.
Don’t post health claims or use Norwex logos on unapproved materials.
Section 19–22: Violations, Complaints, and Disputes
Norwex investigates rule-breaking privately.
Consequences range from warnings to account termination.
If you violate policies, you may lose commissions or your consultant status.
If there’s a major dispute, it will be settled by a neutral third-party (arbitrator) in Texas.
