Young Magician's Club (Y092)
Just for kids ages 7 to 17
If you have questions about the club feel free to contact us. Important Note: Parents are required to attend meetings with their child. No child is to attend without parent supervision unless other arrangements have been made in advance & approved by the SYM Leader.
Come check it out!! If you like what you see, joining the club is easy ... simply enroll in the Society of Young Magicians (SYM) for $20 annually and pay the $12 local chapter dues. (That's just $32 per year to be a member.)
The Magician's Oath
I promise I will always guard against exposing the secrets of magic, whether through lack of practice before performing, or through explanation to any person not entitled to know the secrets. I make this promise seriously, realizing that in violating it, I am not only violating my word of honor, but I am violating the trust and rights of all other magicians who, by the very nature of their art, are entitled to the preservation of the secrets of magic.
Once you've been an SYM member for 3 months, you qualify to earn pins through the SYM Achievement Pin Program. Applicants for the SYM Pin Program will need to complete an application form.
To earn a Bronze pin, you will need to demonstrate 3 effects in one magic category (such as Coins, Cards, Rope, Silk, etc.) and complete the Bronze Pin Application.
To earn a Silver pin, you will need to have earned 2 Bronze pins in the same category and complete the Silver Pin Application.
To earn a Gold pin, you will need to have earned a Silver in 3 different categories and complete the Gold Pin Application.
