Transnational Project Meetings

1st transnational meeting was held at Osnovna škola kraljice Jelene, Solin, Croatia from 19th October 2017 to 21th October 2017.

Members of all teams who are in charge of translating the materials, ICT activities and the members in charge of historical and natural aspect attended the meeting so each aspect on which the project is based was elaborated in detail.

and 2 members from Instituto Compresivo Statale Alda Costa from Ferrara, Italy

participated in this meeting.

Total:19 members

During the meeting, all members were very active in discussion, they were exchanging ideas, knowledge and experiences connected with the topic of the project.

Ad.1.)

After a welcome speech by the headmistress of the hosting school, members of each school presented their schools and the towns they are coming from.

Ad.2.)

Tasks are equally distributed in each team. All teams have been informed on special tasks for which they will be in charge of during the project. Coordinator school controls the execution of all activities during the project (dissemination, evaluation, budget, communication) and checks and evaluates the reports.

Primorski Dolac is in charge of translation from Croatian to English and of evaluation.

Ptuj is in charge of translation from Slovenian to English and of communication.

Ferrara controls the dissemination, whether all partners are working on publishing the content on the project.

Piacenza translates all materials from Italian to English and is the coordinator for translation of all teams.

The coordinator N.Bogdan pointed out that Mystery of History is the European project about historic and natural heritage which will be carried out through dynamic and contemporary teaching. She presented and described all planned project activities. The members exchanged their experiences and ideas and talked about different and very creative, modern ways of realization. They discussed their former experiences in similar activities and agreed on this plan.

Each partner is obligated to realize all planned project’s activities in a responsible way and in time hence the aims that were planned could be met.

Each project partner has his tasks and a responsibility for project implementation.

Tasks are divided within every team and coordinators, coordinators’ substitutes, people in charge of collecting and keeping the administration, people in charge of control of the budget, evaluation, dissemination and in charge of communication with partners are named again.

Coordinator will take the responsibility for realization of the project and will constantly supervise the project from the very beginning (dissemination, evaluation, communication, budget control) and will request and evaluate the reports.

School Primorski Dolac takes responsibility in translating the materials from Croatian to English and controls the process of evaluation.

Slovenian team will translate the materials from Slovenian to English and monitor if the partners are active in communication

Ferrara team will be in charge of dissemination activities. All teams are obligated to send the dissemination materials to paola.chiorboli@gmail.com and she will forward them to the coordinator once in a month.

Piacenza members will translate the materials from Italian to English and they will be a coordinator of a translation team of all schools.

Ad.3.)

Nives pointed out that it necessary to have a written consent on usage of materials in purpose of the project of all students’ parents who are included in the project.

Inclusion in Etwinning project of a similar content was agreed on.

Disseminaton will be carried out in school, local community, through media. Each school should have an Erasmus corner on which all the activities and events will be visible during the whole project.

Implementation of project activities in school curriculum was discussed on, colleagues made suggestions and exchanged ideas.

It was agreed that each school should choose their school logo till the middle of September so it could enter the competition on the project’s logo.

Ad.4.)

Definition and agreement on future project activities and work methodology

First field trip which should be realized through November and December was discussed.

Celebrations, exhibitions for the Museum Night (January/Croatia, May/Italy, June/Slovenia)

and Erasmus Day were also announced

After the field trip, students will do work in Art, literal expression, creating materials using web 2.0 tools, and after that, dissemination, communication and evaluation will take place.

The first educational trip should be realized during November or December. Each school presented their plans for this activity.

Celebratory activities and exhibitions should be organized to celebrate Museum Night and Erasmus Day and the timetable for this activities was also created.

After having dynamic and interesting classes outside the school, plan is to modernize and to make interesting the classroom (indoor) activities. This way of teaching will promote creativity in the classroom which will help pupils develop all kinds of their skills. They are expected to express themselves in different ways (art, writing, creating educational, enigmatic materials using web 2.0 tool).

Of course, teachers are expected to disseminate, communicate and evaluate constantly.

Ad.5.)

Communication will take place through SMS, Messanger, Facebook group, Twinspace, e-mails, chats, presentations, WhatsApp, google docs, videoconferences.

Videoconferences have been planned for the future: after the first field trip, after the second field trip, after the second transnational meeting, afer the third field trip and after the last transnational meeting.

Ad.4. Evaluation of the meeting

Ad.1.)

All members have been informed on the budget of their school and can plan the distribution of the money. It is suggested that the person in charge of the budget keeps records of expenses and the account balance and that the control of the financial balance is done periodically and the coordinator should be informed accordingly.

Ad.2.)

Museum Night activities will be held in January in Croatia, in May in Italy, and in June in Slovenia.

Dates for the natural locations field trip were agreed on. Since the aim of our trip is the river, one of the suggested dates for the realization of the field trip is 22nd March., and Italy 22nd April. First materials should be sent or published until 10th April and second materials until 10th May, 2018.

Date for the second transnational meeting in Ptuj was agreed on. It’s on 24th and 25th of May, 2018.

Ad.3.)

Edita Rizvan presented web 2.0 tools which she uses in class which have shown to be useful. These are:

Ad. 4.) After the work meeting, all participants have filled in the evaluation form.

During the day, visit to the University of Split has been organized where Dr.sc. Josip Lasić presented us the university programmes and teaching activities for Erasmus international students and programme of Central State office for Croatians who live abroad.

In the late afternoon, an expert guidance through Diocletian's palace was organized.

SATURDAY/ 21 October, 2017

On Saturday morning, expert guidance through Salona was organized.

After the educational sightseeing, meeting was discussed and it was concluded unanimously that it was very useful, interesting, dynamic and that everything that was planned and that is: detailed elaboration, task and responsibility distribution, exchange of experience and ideas, improving language competences, team work, implementation of dissemination, exchange of knowledge and evaluation, has been accomplished.
