1st trip: The Museum of River Po
Here's a video with explanation in English and Italian of our FIRST EDUCATIONAL TRIP.
Classes 4 A B, C, D took part in the trip.
Aim: Discover the Ancient habits and life along the river Po, in Padana Valley.
The Museum of River Po and people life around it is located in the Castle of Monticelli d'Ongina, a village 25 km from PIACENZA.
Pupils had a pre and post evaluation in Italian language
They all said they didn't know the Ancient Jobs and poor life occurring a Century ago but they recognised some tools that are in some attics ( Ancient iron, some cutlery...)
Thanks to the project they could discover some.mysteries of our local Hisrory and Now they are much more curious about them.
Follow up activities were done in ART ( Drawing fish of the river, Ancient Jobs and tools...); in ENGLISH with vocabulary, wordsearch,dedicated pages; in ITALIAN ( writing an article and a letter about the trip), in MUSIC ( searching and listening to local Songs about our river);
In a special transcurricular path (Art Music,Italian English) about the course of a European River.
Pupils also made a hand book on Ancient Jobs ( shown at the 2nd Transnational meeting)
GEOGRAPHY, HISTORY and SCIENCE were fields of work , of course.( The course of the river, the Ancient tools and Jobs, the fauna ...)
Practical Competences were fostered and, above all, an increased interest in our Cultural background.
This trip was a very good start up, going back in the Past with REAL CONNECTIONS with out PRESENT.

2nd trip: Trip on the Park of river Trebbia
A video reporting the educational trip on the Park of river Trebbia ( class5D Don Minzoni Ottavo Circolo).
Aim: visit the naturalistic area, called PARCO DEL TREBBIA, where the Trebbia enters the river Po. The area is of great environmental importance to discover typical flora, fauna and Stones of this part of Padana Valley.
After the exploration pupils could visit the dedicated Museum, watch a video and make puzzles or match sentences to check their learning.
Great educational path on naturalistic heritage and open air Learning.
Thanks to the guide of the local agency "Eureka" who collaborared for "PARCHI DEL DUCATO" educational exploration.

A FANTASTIC place the Farnese Museum... We partecipated to this lab ( the Akropolis Family in Athens, the origins of our democracy and the connections with Romans ,too) ...and it's a very interesting trip in the past...
Lots of Unforgettable TRIPS and LAB ( Etruscans and the Etruscan liver in Piacenza, Hannibal and the Trebbia Battle…, etc.) are in this MAGIC MUSEUM
