Mysie Musica

Mysie Musica is an electronic, industrial, gothic, edm music singer, producer & songwriter. She started her first works in New York City. She was deeply influenced by the Gothic Underground Music Scene in Manhattan. She often hung out with her friends in the Lower East Side (Greenwich Village) and she always danced in the famous night clubs like the Bank, The Pyramid, The Batcave. She also worked in Webster Hall as a cocktail waitress in between gigs. She was a Gothic go go dancer which she was very proud of. "I loved the dancing! The music is very passionate. I loved the ethereal darkness and the closeness of my friends in the clubs!"

When asked about her friends in the Gothic Scene she laughs and says "we were like a close cult. I will always cherish my friends and crew forever". Her influences are Siousxie and the Banshees and classic gothic and industrial artists like Wumpscut, Skinny Puppy, Front 242, Sisters of Mercy and she is influenced by newer artists like Dioxcyde, Hocico, and Wyndardtage. "You will hear a lot of these elements in my songs because I love these bands."

When she joined the military she wrote songs with a more harder theme. She explains that her music was often a release for real life events. "I served some time in foreign lands and in Afghanistan. I am very proud to be a veteran." Her songs are filled with unusual themes and most of her lyrics have a darker edge. "All of my songs are autobiographies and so you will hear the truth ringing in my songs." She explains that each and every song she wrote is about someone and about her unique situations she faced while in the military. "That is what is so great about my songs!" She states. "Every thing is a 100% real and you should hear that very clearly in my music."

Surprisingly, she is still good natured and very fun hearted! She humorously jokes "Be careful, you might find yourself in one of my songs in the future if you cross me. Having you in my song is a form of revenge." She laughs. Listen to her songs today!
