How to configure PPPoE connection in Linksys router?

To begin, obtain the username and secret key from your Internet service provider in order to set up PPPoE or broadband internet.

To set up the PPPoE web type, follow these steps:

Write down all of the internet type information on a piece of paper so you can readily retrieve it later for Linksys router setup.

IP (internet protocol) address

MAC address on the router

Subnet mask

• Connect the cable modem's Ethernet wire to the Linksys router's internet port.

• Take another Ethernet wire from the router box and connect it to your laptop or PC via the router's LAN port.

• Connect your router to a power outlet and look for the router's IP address in your PC's network connections settings.

• To visit the myrouter.local login page, open Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome, and type router login IP in the address bar of the browser.

• Select the internet type's manual configuration and the PPPoE type under internet service provider, then type the internet type's login username and password.

• Finally, insert the IP address, Subnet Mask, and Physical MAC address for the Linksys router and click Save to change the router settings.
  Note: After the PPPoE configuration is complete, check to see if the internet connection is up and running.
