Untitled Film Stills

Mandate :

To put into practice your knowledge following the history of photography course, you must: Choose a word from the following list: Diversion / Icon/ Scandal / Narrative / Urban / Engaged / Documentary / Humour / Nature Choose a photographer and research it in order to make a brief presentation that allows us to understand his career and style. You select many images, to highlight the visual universe of your artist;Create an image that is related to your word and uses the selected photographer’s visual language or recalls his universe;Prepare a presentation. You must: Talk about your photographer; Describe and analyze the image you created. Explain the relationship of your image with the word and your artist;

I chose the word Icon, and the photographer Cindy Sherman, more specifically, her series Untitled Film Stills.

These pictures were shot with a Canon 5D. I used wigs and makeup to disguise myself as different feminine figures.
