I would love to dedicate this love song as a testimony of my parents who had been lovingly married until they both had been called home to be with the Lord. This song fit so well to this couple from courtship until death do them apart. I love the lyrics of this song, it speaks so well of a good marriage is giving oneself sacrificially, togetherness, unity, to be happy, enjoy one another, love and commitment. This song title has the lyrics "Be your companion for life"; "love you for life"; "my heart accept what ever you are". "though in bitterness life is still sweet and gratifying". I hope if I have the time include the Cantonese lyrics.

My mum use to tell me that true or false love is seen at death bed either one can say words of regrets, guilt or to say "I have kept my faith in the marriage covenant to the end". No can truly say they have kept the marriage vow until death do them apart. Because in our process of life we are subject to lust, lack of trust and temptation, if we are not God fearing we can subject into such lust.

I also witnessed that they lead  a very simple life, their ups and down of life and hardship. One thing that they had never said before are the words "I want to divorce you". By the grace of the Lord they have kept their marriage covenant pure without defile. I would like to challenge all married couples including myself never to use "divorce" as a tool to threaten your spouse in any moment of rage and use as means to solve problems. If any thing not doing right repent and get right in your life time never too late. Marriage is a life time commitment which the essence is love in action.  As a Believer, the Bible teaches us why we should honour our marriages because marriage is a type of Messiah Yeshua who loves His Assembly and give Himself to His bride.

Matthew 19:6 Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.

In each person's life there are two main stages of purity on moral being.

1.  Each unmarried person should keep purity for their future potential life partner, so there is no guilt and shame. It is worthwhile keeping purity and precious gifts to their potential life partner.

2. Each married Couple should be faithful and maintain purity within marriage for each other till the end of their lives. Unfaithfulness breaks the marriage covenant and violates God's laws; hurts each other and also makes their children suffer from having only single parent and in some case lead to deadly disease.

In these days the world does not really value their marriages, some have multiple relationships, trial and error relationship without commitment. Purity is hard to maintain due to the temptations of this world. Those who are God-fearing and have the spirt of Yeshua in them help us to fulfill this marriage covenant
