Welcome to MyOneGate. By installing or using the application, you agree to the following Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before using the app.
1. Overview
MyOneGate is a productivity and digital wellbeing tool designed to help users manage screen time, block distracting apps, and receive Smart Balance insights. The app provides both free and premium features, including optional subscription based enhancements.
By using the app, you acknowledge that MyOneGate is not responsible for how you choose to apply its blocking or time management features.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use MyOneGate. If you are under the legal age of digital consent in your region, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.
3. App Blocking & Usage Limits
MyOneGate allows you to:
• Set daily usage limits
• Block selected apps
• Restrict access during focus sessions
• Receive Smart Balance notifications
You agree that:
• MyOneGate cannot guarantee 100% blocking reliability on all devices or Android versions
• Some system apps or OEM restricted apps may not be blockable
• You are responsible for configuring your own limits and restrictions
4. Smart Balance Notifications
Smart Balance provides optional daily insights and reminders. By enabling this feature, you agree to receive non intrusive notifications related to:
• Usage patterns
• Productivity tips
• Daily balance summaries
• Limit notifications
You may disable notifications at any time from the app settings or from phone settings.
5. Premium Subscription & Billing
MyOneGate offers optional premium features designed to enhance the user experience. These features may include:
• Unlimited app blocking
• Advanced Smart Balance insights
• Daily wellness tips
• Ad free experience
• Additional customization options
Premium access is entirely optional. The free version of the app remains fully functional with essential features.
5.1 Subscription Terms
• All payments are processed securely through Google Play Billing.
• MyOneGate does not store or handle any payment or financial information.
• Subscriptions are available on a monthly or annual basis.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless the user disables auto renewal.
• Users may cancel their subscription at any time through: Google Play → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions
• Canceling a subscription prevents future charges but does not refund previous payments.
• No partial refunds are issued for unused time within an active billing period.
5.2 Trial Period
If a free trial is offered:
• It is available only once per account
• When the trial ends, you can continue using the app’s essential features without a subscription and no automatic subscription will occur.
• You will be able to manually activate a subscription if you wish to continue enjoying premium features.
5.3 Cancellation & Changing Your Mind
• Users may cancel their subscription at any time through Google Play.
• Premium features remain available until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds are handled exclusively by Google Play, according to their refund policy.
• MyOneGate cannot issue refunds directly.
• If a user changes their mind after subscribing, they must request a refund through Google Play.
5.4 App Removal, Device Loss, or Involuntary Interruption
If the user:
• deletes the app
• loses access to their device
• reinstalls the app
• or experiences an unexpected interruption
Their subscription remains active under their Google Play account. Premium access will automatically restore once the user signs in with the same Google account.
5.5 Service Availability
In rare cases where MyOneGate becomes temporarily unavailable due to maintenance or technical issues:
• The user’s subscription remains valid
• No compensation, extension, or refund is guaranteed
• MyOneGate will make reasonable efforts to restore service promptly
5.6 Refunds & Compensation
MyOneGate does not provide:
• refunds
• prorated credits
• compensation for unused subscription time
• compensation for accidental purchases
• compensation for app deletion or device loss
All refund requests must be submitted directly to Google Play, which evaluates them based on its own policies.
5.7 After Subscription Ends
When a subscription expires or is canceled:
• Access to premium features is removed
• The user continues to enjoy all essential free features of MyOneGate
• No charges will occur unless the user manually re subscribes
6. Data & Privacy
MyOneGate is committed to protecting user privacy and does not collect any personal data beyond what is required for the app’s core functionality. All data handled by the app remains stored locally on the user’s device and is never transmitted to external servers.
The app may store the following information locally:
• Local usage statistics Used solely to display daily and weekly screen time insights within the app. This information is not shared with any third parties.
• Local user preferences Such as notification settings, language choices, usage limits, and other in app configurations selected by the user.
• Subscription status Retrieved securely through Google Play to enable premium features. MyOneGate does not store or process any payment information, nor does it retain financial data of any kind.
MyOneGate does not sell, share, or transmit any personal data to external parties. All information remains on the user’s device and is used exclusively to support essential app functionality.
7. User Responsibilities
By using MyOneGate, you agree to:
• Use the app responsibly
• Not attempt to bypass blocking features
• Not misuse the app in ways that harm others
• Understand that the app is a productivity tool, not a parental control or security system
8. Limitations of Liability
MyOneGate is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. The developer is not responsible for:
• Loss of data
• Missed notifications
• Device malfunctions
• Productivity outcomes
• Any consequences of app blocking
You use the app at your own discretion.
9. Changes to the Terms
The developer may update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the app after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
