Excellent 4K capture of the second performance in Dallas. It's filmed in 16:9 from the left center mezzanine with a mix of wides, mediums, and closeups. There's some wandering and dropouts during the Tango due to a curious usher and I moved seats at the top of Act Two due to some seat hoppers but for the most part the action is well followed and the colors are great. Filmed from the front row vertically, cropped to landscape. Because of the angle, the front of the stage blocks anything that happens upstage and on the far sides. This was my first video filmed this way so it's not great: the beginning through Heart of Stone is relatively unobstructed but a piece of fabric covers the screen intermittently during Haus of Holbein through Get Down and All You Wanna Do and I Don't Need Your Love are completely blocked and the only visible part of the stage is the lights. The sound is excellent.

Excellent 4K capture of this newly launched non-equity tour during its first month on the road. It's filmed in 16:9 from the center mezzanine with a mix of wides, mediums, and closeups. There's no major obstruction or blackouts other than a quick dropout during 'I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face' and a couple of heads that can be seen at the bottom of the screen during wides that only affect actors' legs, mostly during Act One. Due to the nature of the show's lighting, spotlights sometimes affect faces and the picture's not as sharp during some of the darker scenes, but the color's great, especially in Act Two. Great 4K capture of this lovely tour on its last day in Dallas. It's filmed in 16:9 from the far right orchestra with a mix of wides, mediums, and closeups. There's no major obstruction other than the tops of heads that can sometimes be seen during wideshots and the sound equipment that blocks some action that takes place on the far side of stage left. There are unfortunately some extended blackouts, notably a two minutes at the top of Act One, three minutes at the top of Act Two, and six minutes during the lengthy scene at Mrs. Higgin's house that's blacked out. There are quick dropouts that take place right after 'Wouldn't it be Loverly?', Alfred's bargain, shortly before Eliza's entrance at the horse race, during 'On the Street Where You Live', and before 'I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face', though these don't last long. The washout is improved from this angle though there's still some during the darker scenes. The sound is excellent. Includes playbill scans.

Excellent 4K capture of the new cast with most of the swings on and splitting various tracks so it's really interesting to see different takes. It’s filmed the rear left mezzanine with a mix of wides, mediums, and closeups. There's no real obstruction: a head can be seen at the bottom of the screen during wides but it doesn't actually obstruct the stage. There is little to no wandering; however, there are multiple quick dropouts for ushers and latecomers that affect parts of Meet the Plastics and 50 seconds of the scene after Stupid With Love is filmed mostly blind. Due to people changing seats for Act Two, Stop is initially mildly obstructed but after changing seats twice the view clears up and the rest of the show is unobstructed. The sound is excellent. Part of the balcony railing can be seen at the bottom left during wides and whenever the action takes place at the very front of the stage, though it is usually zoomed past. This capture starts out rough with a several instances of missing the action while wandering; however, Act Two is filmed beautifully and is only missing a small part of the Wedding Scene. Excellent HD capture of the Original Tour Cast of the 2019 Best Musical Tony Award winner. It’s filmed in 16:9 with a mix of wides, mediums, and closeups from the center balcony. The entire cast are fabulous and bursting with energy which brought some great reactions from the audience. There are some occasional railing obstructions at the very bottom of the screen during wideshots that usually don't block much except for legs and there are quick dropouts during applause. Most notably in the first act, there's some minor wandering and framing slips that'll place most of the action on the right side of the screen but it's fixed for the second act. There's a two minute blackout at the very beginning of Any Way the Wind Blows but audio is included. The sound is excellent. Deejey's hilarious performance as Jefferson was the standout of the performance alongside Lencia's perfect Maria Reynolds. Excellent 4K capture of the 25th Anniversary Farewell tour from the left mezzanine. It’s filmed in 16:9 with a mix of wides, mediums, and closeups. There are multiple head obstructions on the right side of the stage that are seen in a number of the scenes and songs but it is filmed around as best as possible when affected, and there are numerous instances of coverups caused by latecomers and ushers that are mostly seen through the first minutes of each act. Most notably, Light My Candle is audio only and the first 40 seconds of Seasons of Love is blacked out as an audience member tripped and knocked into my seat, and the audio during this moment has been replaced by audio from a separate performance. Though almost all of the show was filmed, the majority of Act Two is unfortunately unwatchable as I unfortunately moved seats and the show is heavily obstructed save for some minor moments in which the obstructions lessened or the blocking led to the action coming into frame. As for Act One notes: it's filmed in 16:9 with a mix of wides, mediums, and closeups; there are some moments in which there's some slight wandering and washout but these issues are quickly fixed when they come up. There are no obstructions and there's only one blackout that takes place during applause following the first song. The sound is excellent. Includes partial curtain call and playbill scans.

The proscenium blocks any action that happens towards the back of the stage or the stage right area, but anything on the spiral staircase towards the front of the stage is caught beautifully. Excellent HD capture of the Angelica Tour cast with David Hyun-Soo Park during his first week as replacement Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson! It’s filmed in 16:9 with a mix of wides, mediums and closeups from the rear left orchestra. Features fabulous performances from everyone in the cast despite the two show day, with great reactions from the audience. There are some rare minor obstructions at the very bottom of the screen during wideshots and there are quick dropouts during applause. It’s filmed in 16:9 with a mix of wides, mediums, and closeups; Act One is filmed partially blind from the rear left orchestra around a lot of heads and is mostly wides or closeups, and Act Two is filmed closer forward and to the left and features more closeups as well as a mix of wides and mediums. These seats weren't optimal for filming at all and there's a large amount of obstructions, wandering, and dropouts through the entire show, but the performances were fabulous and the audio picks it up very well. Unfortunately, the first twenty minutes of the show are audio-only and the footage picks up at You'll Be Back and the first six minutes of Act Two are audio-only. There are a few blackouts; part of Meet Me Inside, Take a Break, and Burn are audio-only as audience members were moving around. There are very few obstructions: the very far right side of the stage is partially covered by a head but it usually never covers anything important and the stage-left balcony is blocked during Schuyler Defeated. Fantastic HD capture of the Tour’s electric Reopening Night. It’s filmed in 16:9 with a mix of wides, mediums, and closeups from the rear left orchestra. In addition to the occasion of the tour's reopening, this is also the first full length video released of the full 2020 cast and the first full tour video filmed from the orchestra in years. Talia is a fabulous Elphie and brings a powerful take to the role alongside Allison’s perfectly hilarious performance as Glinda. There are no real obstructions: some heads appear at the bottom of the screen during wides, though it doesn’t affect more than the actor's legs for the most part and dropouts are mostly limited to applause breaks and early in each Act during latecomer seating. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

Highlights from Natalia's last show in Dallas include Defying Gravity and Act Two starting at the end of As Long As You’re Mine through the Curtain Call only. There are almost no obstructions except for a head that comes into frame on the far right bottom corner during extreme wideshots. There’s some shakiness during closeups but it usually calms down and only lasts for a few seconds and a short dropout during Defying Gravity that’s quickly fixed. For Good is especially great to watch, as well as scenes where the blocking takes place in the front or center of the stage. It’s filmed in 16:9 from the front right orchestra around three heads that made getting wideshots nearly impossible so for the most part this video is primarily closeups and limited mediums when it’s not obstructed.
