Technology
"Technology" is the lead single to my re-recorded album for Technology.
He loves me too...
"He loves me too.." is the official single from my fifth album, VELVET LETTER.
Filmed and edited by me! Wanted to just do something simple to make the song itself reflect its story stronger. Happy (early) Valentine's Day!!! 💖
March Madness
"March Madness" gets the first visual from my fifth album, VELVET LETTER.
Filmed by my super awesome friends Simon & Jack!!!
This is a video that feels like one massive stream of my consciousness as I was thrown into a situation placed upon me by people who spread an awful rumor about me on my campus that I proudly stated the N-word. Completely false. I hope you guys enjoy it! And to you rumor spreaders, I'll look down to you on stage.
Emotions
"Emotions" is the ninth single off my fourth album, New World.
After having all previous music videos after Rhaspberry be shot with my friends on campus, I had to embark on doing the last two alone. Emotions was the second and last video I shot on campus by myself and honestly I think I did a cool job with what I got! It was all filmed within 20 minutes in a greenhouse dome connected to the science building and everything was shot in 2x speed to give it that nice slow motion effect (as well as to save time). I also wore the same shorts worn from The Pearl that I am's video as a way to connect those two since they would be releasing one after the other.
The Pearl that I am
"The Pearl that I am" is the eighth single off my fourth album, New World.
This was the very second video I had recorded for the album and was the first to be a collaboration between my amazing college friends Triniti N. & Skylar H.!!!
We had spent the whole afternoon of the previous day designing the outfit out of old thrift shirts and curtains and just having a blast recording this one!
Flowers
"Flowers" is the seventh single off my fourth album, New World. Damn I did a lot for this era.
This was also a super cool quick visual filming that took place in the super cool garden that's owned by my campus, the same place we filmed the Perfect Places video. Once again my awesome bestie Triniti N. did all the recording for this piece, this era would've been NOTHING without her!!! She also did my hair for this one!!!!
True
"True" is the sixth and was the first BandCamp exclusive promo single off my fourth album, New World.
This one was a quick visual filming in the parking lot of the science building on my campus. My awesome bestie Triniti N. and I spent like an hour just in the cold of October recording this and I'm so glad we were able to make it before we couldn't with winter around the corner!
Perfect Places
"Perfect Places" is the fifth single off my fourth album, New World.
Before I get into the video, the song itself was heavily inspired by two things that traumatized me. The first being the movie/book "The Lovely Bones" written by Alice Sebold. Absolutely mortified to walk into the world for weeks after stumbling upon the film in November of 2020. I wrote this out of the immense fear in January of 2021 and since then its been what I would call the epicenter of the album. And thus, the inspiration from the film was also the mastermind behind the story of this music video. The second thing that heavily inspired the song is the new horror classic "Midsommar," directed by Ari Aster. The production was heavily inspired by the little musical flute band that appears when the newcomers step into the village for the first time and musical orchestration backing the entirety of the film.
As for the video I can NOT thank my amazing friends enough!!!! BIG shoutout to Andreas N. and Skylar H. for helping film AND ACT in this piece of media!
Pixel Hært
"Pixel Hært" is the fourth single off my fourth album, New World. My dad and I created this song completely from scratch one random night at the end of my senior year of high school. He LOVED the drums and the synth layers I put together and the melody of the chorus and post-chorus came to me that night instantly like an enchantment.
In this video I wanted to do something nostalgic and unique to all the videos I had previously recorded for this album and giving it that 90's found-footage aesthetic felt like a good route to take.
It tells a story of a couple, the Unfaithful leaving the room of another persons while finding out their partner, the Dejected Lover, is standing right outside, smiling over the fact of catching them in the act. The two chase after eachother while we see three other characters emerge such as the Ex, The Paramour, and The One That Got Away.
The music video was shot by my awesome friend, Triniti N., in the Humanities Fine Arts center of my college campus!
Jewel
"Jewel" is the third single off my fourth album, New World. When thinking about the vibe of this song I was imagining a very rich person with backup dancers (or "servants") cradling this awful rich person who abuses their partners for their money.
The only set-choreography my friends and I did was the shifting arms for the "I know, I know" lyrics, everything else is completely free style, which was awesome!
The music video was shot with my friends, Triniti N., Keeley G., and Skylar H., and I in the Student center of my college campus!
New World
"New World" is the title track and second single off my fourth album, New World. I created the song back on August 1st of 2021 and wrote it as a plead for urging those listening to promote their power to embark on creating an environmentally beneficial world.
The music video was shot with my friends, Skylar H., and Triniti N., and I in a piano practice room in the Humanites Fine Arts center of our college campus. We all had a blast with this one! So glad my amazing besties were able to capture a visually stunning visual I needed for this song! We used these awesome projector lights I got off of amazon and I think it really provided a stunning piece of eye candy <3
Rhaspberry
"Rhaspberry" is the lead single to my fourth album, New World. This video was shot in my own dining room. I figured the maroon chairs and the gold-planted aesthetic would look amazing in this video, even if all of it is pretty much just black and white except for the maroons anyway XD
Overall I had a blast with this video and editing it was a lot of work but a lot of fun to do! I finished it while just starting college and I'm glad I was able to make something I find incredibly accomplishing with this visual for my song <3
It became my biggest hit to date gaining over 36 THOUSAND views on YouTube!!!!
The song itself was also helped produced by my amazing friend mi-key!!!
Look At Me Now
"Look At Me Now" is the fourth and final single off of my EP, ME: The Rejects. I wanted this to be a sentimental video to me that felt like a memorial glimpse of the ME era in its entirety. There's so much jampacked into this, so many tiny moments that seem like nothing but have heavy memories attached to them. I will always love the ME era for how much it's served me over the past two years, and as we're moving onto New World, I wanted to make this video as a way of marking my final territory.
Lover Diet
"Lover Diet" is the third single off of my EP, ME: The Rejects. This music video was just a really fun idea I had for a while where I just wanted to eat a bunch of candy food infront of a blue screen and just see what I could do with it. Had a blast filming this one, I even got to bend my back backward to the ground and back up again! It's been a while since I've done that one!
Cravin'
"Cravin'" is the second single off of my EP, ME: The Rejects. This song was a favorite of many of my friends and luckily! Many of my friends helped me out with this music video! I would love to give an amazing list of dedication to every one of my friends who helped with the production of this video: Tamia Weathers (dancer) - Lily Born (dancer) - Brady Cole (camera operator) - Kylee Slappy (assistant & bts footage collector) <3
True Colors
"True Colors" is the lead single off of my first EP, ME: The Rejects, a collection of rejected songs from my third album, ME. After a year of considering what I wanted to do with this song, I knew going out of my boundaries and into the unknown was the only way I could do it. Thankfully to my AMAZING friend Steff Morganzzi, aka ORCHID, they were able to help me pull off my vision and create 95% of EVERY visual piece you see in this video!
Shooting Stars
"Shooting Stars" is the third single off of my third album, ME. After two official, and many promo singles, I felt the need to give starlight to one of my personal favorite tracks. Released on December 4th, 2021, Shooting Stars became the biggest song off the album, along with the first promo single Why Me?, and had gained immense success through its many live performances and remixed versions which helped it gain traction. The music video takes place as a night-time stroll while being watched over by my gaurdian angel. Filmed with my dad.
Layers
"Layers" is the second single off of my third album, ME. While coming up with early concepts of the ME album, I had reached out to my dear friend Kaeler Grey for help. Without him, this song would be nothing and I have no one else to thank for its success and artistic vision. The song was released on May 21st, 2021. I knew this video had to tell a story showing both the dark and light sides of being free in this world and that's what was set out to do.
The Way (I Like To Move)
"The Way (I Like To Move)" is the lead single off of my third album, ME. I wanted this song to be the first to represent who I was by showing the roots of where I came from, specifically St. Paul, MN. Without this amazing capitol of the state, I wouldn't be here. I wanted this video to show that. My dad, who grew up on Deubener street, helped film this video as we traveled.
Why Me?
"Why Me?" was the first released promotional single off of my third album, ME. When I first finished this song in June of 2020, I knew it had to be released right then and there, I couldn't for the life of me let this song sit on my computer gathering dust until the album releases. When I made the single cover I took the four main colors my synesthesia picked up with this song while listening to it, bright orange, tame yellow, hot pink, and light blue. I wanted those colors to explode in this video. This song and video were released on July 17th, 2020.
The Last Chant
"The Last Chant" was the fifth single off of my sophomore album, Blue. After months of my friends nagging me to make it a single, I caved in, and gave a gift to not only them but myself on October 1st, 2020. I had realized this song was a celebration of my artistry and how far I had already come in my musical journey. This video speaks to my life the way I view it. Only the color Blue could be shown, as the title of the album has been there me through it all as you can see. This was my farewell to a personal era of my life in the most beautiful way possible.
Past The Stars
"Past The Stars" was the fourth single off my sophomore album, Blue. While I had imagined a much more elaborate project for this song, my knowledge in video editing and production was much slimmer and suffored a little-to-no budget. However I decided to embark on making a visual I felt I needed to make. It also contains the first "choreo routine" I had ever put into a music video. This music video was released on June 13th, 2020.
Pouring Down
"Pouring Down" was the third single off my sophomore album, Blue. This was the first music video I had recorded with my dad and the setting takes place in the back prairies of the very middle school I went to, Northdale Middle School. It was released on April 29th, 2020.
This Is How You Love Somebody
"This Is How You Love Somebody" was the second single off of my debut album, Technology. The song is about giving toxic comfort to a friend in need who's saddened by their inability to attract the one they desire. It was released as a single along with the accompanying music video on August 30th, 2019. This video is about waking up, spending my life mentouring, and living sadly while viewing freedom from a window. At the end, I've had enough and decided to be there for myself instead, dancing freely in the rain, a rather poetic way to end.
