BASILICA OF ANNUNCIATION

On of the most sacred places for Christianity, the house in which Mary was supposed to say Yes to archangel Gabriel. Nowadays, the house is built into a two-storey modern basilica surrounded with a courtyard with Ave Maria in lots of language version.

The outside of the basilica and the courtyards are incredible places, while the inside has a bit of a feeling of an unfinished building site... I was missing a bit more light and intimacy in the two-storey noisy modern structure reminding me of a shopping mall rather than a church. A beautiful surprise was St Joseph's church nearby with an altar donated by Moravian  Christians in 1926.
