One of the holliest places and center of the Christianity in Jerusalem, the place where Our Lord was crucified and where Joseph of Arimatia bought a sepulchre to lay down his body. Just to be found empty on the morning of the third day!
"His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became as white as the light. ”
- Matthew 17,2
I was coming and returning during both of my visits of Jerusalem. I found it almost empty - and also incredibly crowded. Prayed here in silence, joined some crowded masses. I especially liked the very early mornings when the church opens before the tourists and pilgrims hit the ground.
