BASILICA OF SAINT JAMES
PRAGUE (OLD TOWN)
CZECH REPUBLIC
One of the largest churches in Prague, part of the Minorites monastery, situated in the very heart of Prague, just a few steps from the Old Town Square.
"God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble.”
- James 4,6
I've always only walked around. Time for a proper visit:-) This is one of the oldest places in Prague, one of the first monasteries here. Place of royal burials, place of baroque beauty. King Přemysl Otakar II founded it when he got hold of St James's relic.
