From the times of Roman legions, through Baroque renovations, until present-day pilgrimage place, the Wilten basilica has become a symbol of Innsbruck.

The visit was a brief stop on the way through the Tirolean Alps. But I enjoyed many glimpses of it in my life whenever I started climbing the Brenner pass highway.
