This product was thought of because personal privacy is one of the biggest issues for instance, say your going into a café to work anyone can see your passwords and that is not good so this product will be able to stop that kind of password theft.
the goal of this project is to create an object that can shield peoples laptops from any onlookers trying to steal your passwords or any other information this device does this via a plastic fold out partition that blocks people from seeing your screen preventing identity or password theft.
the first step is to create a device that can spring friction fit on the back of a laptop of any size the next step is to make a working hinge that will hinge forward and then backward for storage lastly it must be able to fit perfectly around the laptop without damaging it and then i will test it by putting it on a laptop and seeing how much you can see.
To complete the project i need to get the materials the proper plan of action to build the device and then i need to put it on a laptop and test if it works
To make sure that it is sturdy and fully functional no matter what happens to it i will have to test the tolerance of if the spring is tight enough and if the plastic is durable enough to survive extreme stress from any thing that may break it.
First i will buy the parts springs, rubber tape, plastic, and metal pins then i will use the plastic to 3d print a couple panels 3d printer plastic will cost about 24.99, springs will cost 8.99, rubber tape will cost 13.98 in total it will cost 52.96 not including the 3d printer
