"From day one Helen was my daughter's favourite teacher. She put her completely at ease and was so warm.
As a child with ADHD she often struggled to vocalise what she needed, or would vocalise at the wrong time. Helen always showed the same amount of patience whether it was the first or tenth time she had to explain something, very few people have that attribute, and it meant that my daughter knew she always had someone to turn to when she was struggling, be that in the classroom or socially and emotionally. As a mum it gave me such a sense of calm knowing someone at school really did care and never judged.
Now my daughter is heading off to high school but she will tell you herself that she would rather be tutored full time by Helen! Some teachers leave their mark on a child, a name they will never forget. Helen is one of those teachers. "
