Whether it be in a classroom or supporting students in any other environment, the teaching and support provided should always enrich the students’ learning journey through creative, challenging and exciting experiences. So much time and effort is spent purely supporting the academic needs of children that their personal development and wellbeing is often neglected. Therefore, a holistic approach to learning is essential.
Thus, successful approaches to learning are ones which not only meet the academic needs of students, but also facilitates the development of many life skills as well as their self-confidence, independence, creativity and resilience. All children should be given the opportunity to develop a curiosity for learning which will hopefully lead to a lifelong love of learning.
We are all unique, we all learn in different ways and each and everyone of us have our own personal barriers which can inhibit us from reaching our full potential. These barriers can be overcome through a bespoke learning approach that supports the individual's needs, whether personal or academic. Once these barriers have been addressed, a love of learning is often ignited and allows the individual to flourish, enabling them to navigate their own learning journey.
Everyone can achieve and everyone can succeed!
I am a qualified teacher of fifteen years and I have inspired the learning of many children throughout my successful career so far. I have influenced, encouraged and supported the learning of these through a holistic approach and as a result have seen these children flourish academically as well as developing into happy, confident and resilient young people.
My approach to teaching and learning means that I think about the needs of the whole child and provide learning experiences which prove meaningful and relevant to them and the world around them.
As a person, I am very professional, reliable and highly organised and can find ways to engage children of all dispositions. My ability to build rapport with any child has often been recognised and is something I am proud of. I am a very positive person and this is something I strive to instill in my students.
Above all, I have a passion for inspiring children and allowing them to achieve, no matter what!
