MyKid is a parent-focused planning and routine management application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, why we process it, and what choices you have.
MyKid is designed for parents and caregivers (adult users). Child profiles are managed by the parent account.
We Process We may process the following categories of information:
1. Parent account information- Google Sign-In account data such as name, email address, and account identifier (UID).
2. Child profile information entered by parent- Child profile fields such as name, avatar selection, and birth year/age-related profile data.
3.Routine and progress information- Routine plans, task configurations, completion entries, progress/streak data, and related app usage data needed for core functionality.
4. Notification and device-related identifiers- Push notification token and technical identifiers required to deliver reminders and maintain app reliability.
5. Data we do not intentionally collect as core app behavior- No photos/videos as a required cloud collection path.- No precise location collection.- No in-app purchases/subscription payment data
We use information to:
1. Authenticate parent access.
2. Provide routine planning and progress tracking functionality.
3. Sync selected app data across signed-in devices using Firebase services.
4. Deliver reminders and notifications.
5. Improve app reliability and product quality. 6. Provide support when requested.
MyKid uses the following service providers for core app operation:
1. Firebase Authentication (parent sign-in)
2. Cloud Firestore (cloud data sync)
3. Firebase Cloud Messaging (push notifications)
4. Google Sign-In (authentication flow) These providers may process data on our behalf to provide app functionality.
1. MyKid does not sell personal data.
2. MyKid does not use ad SDKs for behavioral advertising.
3. Data may be processed by the service providers listed above solely to run core app features.
We retain data as long as needed to provide services, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and resolve operational issues. Retention duration can vary by data type and account status.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including:

2. Authenticated access controls for cloud data flows
3. Access-limiting design aligned with parent account ownership No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we continuously work to protect your data.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your information. Inside the app, parents can:
1. Manage child profiles
2. Update routine and progress data
3. Delete account and associated data through in-app account/data controls
MyKid is positioned as a parent-focused app. Child profile data is parent-managed, and account access is restricted through parent sign-in controls.
Data may be processed in regions where our service providers operate. By using the service, you understand that data may be transferred and processed according to applicable laws.
