I have attempted discovering my identity through art for as long as I can remember. As my life has been unfolding, art has took on the role in my life of becoming the identity. 

My works discover themes of self perception and expression, emotional pain, the connections humans have with nature, and ultimately, themselves. 

I strive to story tell with my art without taking the individualism of interpretation out; I believe that is the biggest takeaway from all forms of art and communication. 

I often intertwine other forms of art within the theme of a piece I'm working on, such as poetry, smaller works, or fashion concepts. In a way, my works become series of different mediums. 

If I had to label myself, these things all make me an interdisciplinary fine artist and designer.
