My Home Assistant (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) is provided by the developer, who can be contacted at ssapps909@gmail.com.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the My Home Assistant mobile application.
When you sign up or sign in, we collect your:
Email address
Authentication information
Passwords are securely managed by Firebase Authentication. We do not store your password ourselves.
You may also sign in using a passwordless email link.
We store information that you create within the App, including:
Chore titles
Selected days of the week
Reminder settings, including reminder time and whether reminders are enabled
Chore completion status
Housesitter and dedicated-person contacts, including email and optional nickname
Chore assignments you create or receive
This information is stored in Google Firebase Cloud Firestore and linked to your account.
We use Firebase services that may collect certain technical and usage information, including:

App usage events, such as sign-ins and screen views
Information used to help us understand how the App is used

The App displays advertisements provided by Unity Ads (Unity Technologies).
To serve, measure, and improve advertisements, Unity and its advertising partners may collect or process:
Android Advertising ID (AAID / GAID)
IP address
Device and network information, such as:
Device type
Operating system
Language
Carrier/network status
Approximate location derived from IP address
Ad interaction data, including:
Impressions
Clicks
Whether a video advertisement was started
Whether a video advertisement was skipped
Whether a video advertisement was completed
Limited App activity related to advertisements, such as whether an ad placement was displayed
We do not send your chore titles, household contacts, or account password to Unity Ads.
Unity may use this information to:

Measure advertising performance
Detect fraud
Personalize advertisements where permitted by law

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as:

Contacts from your device address book
Precise GPS location

Create and manage your account
Synchronize your chores and assignments across devices and sessions
Send chore reminders and App notifications when enabled
Show banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements
Improve App performance and reliability
Diagnose and fix bugs
Enforce minimum or required App versions
Respond to bug reports or support requests that you send by email
My Home Assistant contains advertisements provided by Unity Ads.
The App may display:
A clearly labeled banner advertisement on the home dashboard
An interstitial (full-screen) advertisement after every fourth tap on a home dashboard tile, such as Chores, Housesitter, or Dedicated Person
An optional rewarded video advertisement when you add a new chore
Watching the rewarded video is optional. You can skip it, and your chore will be saved either way.
Advertisements are clearly labeled and separated from App buttons to reduce accidental taps.
Full-screen advertisements are not shown when the App launches or when you press Back.
Where required by law, such as under applicable GDPR requirements in the European Economic Area, UK, or Switzerland, or applicable California privacy laws, Unity Ads may display a consent prompt before personalized advertisements are shown.
You can also limit advertising personalization through your device settings.
On Android, depending on your device and Android version, options may include:
Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID
or
Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
Resetting or deleting your Advertising ID does not stop advertisements from appearing. It may make advertisements less relevant or personalized.
The App is not directed at children, and we do not use Unity Ads in a child-directed manner.

With Google Firebase to operate and provide App functionality
With Unity Ads and its advertising partners to show, measure, and improve advertisements
When required by applicable law
When you choose to share information yourself, such as sharing the App or sending a bug report by email
Advertising partners may receive advertising identifiers and device or ad-interaction data.
They do not receive your chore content from us.
Your account information, chores, contacts, and assignments are retained while your account remains active.
Crash reports and analytics information are retained according to Firebase's applicable retention policies.
Advertising data is retained according to Unity's applicable retention policies.
You may delete your account and associated App data through:
Settings → Delete my account data
You may also contact us using the contact information provided in Section 12 to request deletion.
We use industry-standard services provided by Firebase and Unity, including encryption in transit, to help protect your information.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your data.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
My Home Assistant is not intended for children under the age of 13, or the equivalent age of digital consent in your country, which may be higher in some jurisdictions.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We do not show interest-based advertising to children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps to delete the information.
Depending on your location and applicable laws, including the GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy laws, you may have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate information
Request deletion of your account and associated data
Withdraw consent for notifications
Opt out of personalized advertising
Request that we not “sell” or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, where those terms apply under applicable U.S. state privacy laws
We do not sell personal information for money.
Advertising identifiers may be used by Unity for advertising purposes as described in this Privacy Policy.
