This is a private apartment, rented by a host in a non-entrepreneurial form in compliance with national and local regulations. Payment is accepted in advance by bank transfer and the reservation is confirmed only when the payment is verified by the host.
Heating is centralized for the compound/building. Every winter season, the Municipality of Rome issues a law, indicating the period of operation of the heating for civil buildings. We respect these indications. Example: for the winter season 2024-2025, the period of operation of the heating is from November 15, 2024 to April 7, 2025 (see here). In Rome we have nice temperatures all year round and we consider the municipal regulation adequate for the needs of comfort, but we also understand that this may be considered a too tight restriction for our guests and this would be unpleasant. We kindly ask you to make sure that this is not a problem before booking.
Parties are not allowed in this apartment. More generally, the building rules require you to respect the quite hours, between x pm and y pm and between 10 pm and 8 am the following day.
Guests' personal information and dates of stay in the apartment must be sent to the police authorities within 24 hours of check-in day. All guests will be asked to send a copy of the ID to the host, by arrival. It is strictly forbidden to allow unregistered people to access the apartment.
The tourist tax is set by the Municipality law, required by each guest (read here): on 2024 thi is set to €6 per day/person, which must be paid by the day of check-out directly to the host. Children up to 10 years old and residents in the Municipality are exempt.
During the summer, fans will be made available; we apologize to inform you there is NO air conditioning system. The apartment is located on the ground floor of a historic building and the installation of external air conditioning modules is not allowed for aesthetic reasons. The temperature is pleasant, all windows have a view of the private garden of the building and are shaded.
We love animals, but unfortunately guests are not allowed to bring animals into the apartment. Please respect this rule.
Self-check-ins are not allowed by law (read here) in Italy. We are aware that several hosts offer self-check-ins that you may have experienced, but this is against the law. So, unfortunately, it is not possible to collect the key at any time from the key box. Please, when sending a booking request, indicate the check-in time and respect, as far as possible, the indicated time slot: we must give you the keys and welcome you or delegate someone. We will try to do our best to accommodate special needs.
The apartment offered as "Tourist accommodation" must have smoke detection systems, by law. We respect this rule and have installed a smoke, heat and carbon monoxide detection system in this apartment for the safety of our guests. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the apartment.
