Our research focuses on interfacial phenomena and the use of advanced microscopy techniques to investigate materials behavior. The current work explores photochemical and electrochemical processes, mechanically controlled crystallization for materials synthesis and processing, and the design of bioinspired materials for mechanical and energy-related applications. Our work begins with fundamental understanding and aims to leverage this knowledge to rationally design interfaces for a wide range of applications. For more details on current projects, please see Research.
We are currently recruiting Ph.D. students to join our group. Please see here for more details: Openings
