I have the latest gen iPod touch: which has an HD camera with mic. Iwant to record class lectures and such but the files are massive thatit produces: 4+ gigs for 1 hour using the built in app. Is there asetting or another app that will allow extremely high quality audioand video without the cost of such a large file?

On July 27, 2017, Apple removed the iPod Nano and Shuffle from its stores, marking the end of Apple's production of standalone music players.[31] On May 10, 2022, Apple discontinued the iPod Touch, the last remaining product in the iPod line.[4] iOS 15 was the last iOS release the 7th generation iPod touch received, as future versions from iOS 16 onward no longer support the device.

If you want to delete the actual videos, delete them through itunes. If you want to keep them, but delete from ipod, you can uncheck the sync all videos box under videos tab in itunes, then select which ones you want to sync.

Against my expectations, however, I can touch the center area of the red rectangle around where that play "overlay" that appears at the center of every HTML5 video on the iPhone or iPod Touch is located to cause the VIDEO element to start playing as if I touched the VIDEO element itself.

UPDATE: It seems to go so far as to block the touch event from anything positioned directly over it. If I try to attach an event listener to the absolutely positioned red DIV the associated event handler won't execute. This is really quite annoying.

UPDATE: @Matt H - This is a "web app" running in iOS's Safari. Through vigorous testing I have concluded that on an iPhone or iPod Touch the area in which a VIDEO element "resides" on the physical page is essentially reserved for that element as far as events are concerned so long as it's actually visible. The problem of course is that if the VIDEO element is not displayed then you can't chain a play method call from a touch on the overlay element. This sucks, but I assume it's part of Apple's efforts to prevent malicious coders from "tricking" users into playing VIDEO much like the "no autoplay" rule.

Carry your music collection wherever you go with the Apple iPod Touch 16GB. Designed with an easy-to-use touchscreen interface, it's a great digital sidekick. Use it to play games, watch movies, read e-books and more. It also stores and plays your favorite songs, pictures and videos and even lets you take and record pictures with the camera. Plus, Bluetooth capability supports wireless pairing and streaming with many portable speakers. This iPod Touch 6th generation 16GB is also available in a selection of stylish colors.

Video out

iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch models support video out via a number of compatible Apple-specific connection kits. More information is available through the Apple support site.

Why would you want the best output? Because (many people don't know that) you can play movie on TV from your ipod with a single (usually cheap) cable. I have i Ipod video of the 5th generation and after several hours of testing here are my conclusions:

In a preemptive move by Google, a new YouTube app is now available for iPhone and iPod touch in the iOS App Store. It is a free app that features an updated user interface and enhanced features. Launch the direct download from Apple to download the app through iTunes on a computer, or through the App Store app on an iPhone or iPod touch.

The new app is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), and iPad. It requires iOS 4.3 or later. An iPad version is said to be on the way that will have a user interface designed for the larger screen.

As its name implies, FaceTime is a video call you initiate from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Mac to another Apple device. It lets you see, hear and speak to the person on the other end. You can add people to the call and conduct a group call with up to 32 people.

4. To register your email address on your iPhone or on your iPad or iPod touch where you might not have a phone number, simply go to Settings | FaceTime| Use your Apple ID for FaceTime and sign in with your Apple ID. 2351a5e196
