If you want a dedicated charging cable to keep your existing HBQ or LY04 earbuds powered up, choose myfole DC 2.0mm; if you need a complete wireless audio system with low latency and sports-ready comfort for glasses wearers, choose HAPPYAUDIO Headphones.
• myfole DC 2.0mm: The strength is its specific compatibility with legacy TWS cases like the HBQ i7 and Mini S530, but it offers no audio output of its own—it is purely an accessory. This pick is for owners of those specific earbuds who have lost their original charger.
• HAPPYAUDIO Headphones: The strength lies in its Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, 20ms low latency, and ergonomic design that accommodates eyeglass arms, but it requires purchasing a new unit rather than repairing an old one. This pick is for anyone seeking a fresh, comfortable listening experience for running or daily use.
The myfole DC 2.0mm is not a set of headphones you wear; it is a specialized tool designed to solve a very specific power problem. Based on the technical specifications, this product is a USB Type A connector cable featuring a dual-plug configuration with a 2.0mm DC interface. Its primary function is to deliver stable and fast charging to a narrow ecosystem of wireless devices. If you own a pair of HBQ i7, i7s, LY04, or Mini S530/S570/Q13 wireless headphones, this cable is engineered specifically to restore battery life when the original charger is missing or damaged.
For the user who has already invested in these specific models, this cable represents a critical lifeline. The item is lightweight at just 0.01 kg and features a round, black design that fits easily into a pocket or bag alongside other gear. It is built for both indoor and outdoor usage, meaning you can rely on it to top off your charge while commuting or traveling.
However, this product is strictly for the repair and maintenance phase of the headphone lifecycle. It does not produce sound, nor does it offer any audio features like noise cancellation or wireless streaming. If you are looking for a replacement audio device or a new pair of earbuds to try out, this is not the right choice. It is also incompatible with modern USB-C devices or standard Bluetooth headphones that do not utilize the proprietary 2.0mm charging port found in the supported HBQ and Mini series. You must verify your model number before buying, as using this cable on an incompatible device could result in a failed connection or potential damage.

The HAPPYAUDIO Headphones (Model S3) represent a complete, modern wireless audio solution designed for active lifestyles and extended wear. Unlike the charging cable, this is a fully functional pair of True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds that utilize Bluetooth 5.3 technology to ensure a stable connection up to 10 meters away. The standout feature for many users is the remarkably low audio latency of just 20 milliseconds, which is crucial for syncing video content or gaming without noticeable delay. This makes them a strong contender for anyone prioritizing synchronization between what they see and what they hear.
Comfort is a central pillar of the HAPPYAUDIO design, particularly for individuals who wear prescription eyeglasses. The earpiece shape is described as hooks with a discreet, nearly invisible appearance that sits comfortably behind the ear. The enclosure is constructed from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) and Polycarbonate (PC), materials known for durability and a soft-touch finish that reduces pressure points during long sessions. The ergonomic fit ensures that the headphones stay secure during physical activity, making them an excellent option for runners or gym-goers who need their audio to remain stable even when moving vigorously.
Battery performance is another significant advantage in this category. The earbuds themselves offer an average life of 7 hours on a single charge, while the portable carrying case extends this total usage time to 16 hours. With a relatively quick charge time of 1.5 hours for the buds and 2 hours for the case, you spend less time tethered to a wall outlet. The inclusion of IPX6 water resistance further solidifies their place as a sporty, durable option capable of handling sweat and light rain. While they lack active noise cancellation, the combination of voice ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) buttons and advanced sound processing helps filter background noise for clearer calls and music.
• Best for glasses wearers seeking comfort → HAPPYAUDIO Headphones (Ergonomic hook design and soft-touch materials prevent pressure from frames).
• Best for battery longevity per charge → HAPPYAUDIO Headphones (7 hours of playtime plus a 16-hour total capacity from the case).
• Best for low-latency video or gaming → HAPPYAUDIO Headphones (20ms latency ensures perfect audio-visual sync).
• Best for extending the life of existing HBQ/Mini units → myfole DC 2.0mm (The only way to recharge those specific legacy models without the original cord).
• Best for sports and sweat resistance → HAPPYAUDIO Headphones (IPX6 rating protects against heavy perspiration and moisture).
• Best for simplicity and portability → myfole DC 2.0mm (Extremely lightweight at 0.01 kg, fits anywhere in a bag).
• Best for modern connectivity → HAPPYAUDIO Headphones (Bluetooth 5.3 provides a more stable and faster link than older standards).
• Best value for a new audio experience → HAPPYAUDIO Headphones (Provides a full suite of features including controls, mic, and case).
In my opinion, for most people looking for a listening experience, the HAPPYAUDIO Headphones are the clear winner. They offer a complete package of low latency, long battery life, and a comfortable, secure fit that works exceptionally well for glasses wearers. The ability to wear them for 7 hours straight without discomfort, combined with the stability of Bluetooth 5.3, makes them a superior choice for daily commuting, workouts, and media consumption. I would recommend the myfole DC 2.0mm only if you specifically own one of the compatible legacy models and have lost their charger; otherwise, investing in the HAPPYAUDIO system provides a far more versatile and modern audio solution.
While the HAPPYAUDIO model uses a hook-style design that is highly discreet and comfortable for glasses wearers, it is technically an in-ear TWS style rather than a true "open ear" bone conduction headset. However, its ergonomic design minimizes interference with temple arms, making it one of the best options in its class for those wearing glasses.
With a specified audio latency of 20 milliseconds, the HAPPYAUDIO Headphones provide extremely low lag, which is ideal for watching videos or gaming. This specification makes them a top-tier choice for users who prioritize synchronization, regardless of whether they wear glasses.
Neither product listed is marketed specifically as a children's headset. The myfole DC 2.0mm is a generic charging accessory, and the HAPPYAUDIO Headphones are designed for general adult use with standard Bluetooth connectivity and volume levels suitable for mature listeners.
