Le cinema ce n'est pas pour conclure. C'est stabiliser, stabiliser provisoirement. Car conclure, aujourd’hui, c’est souvent fermer trop vite. C’est produire un slogan. C’est rendre la pensée compatible avec le partage. Mais stabiliser provisoirement, c’est autre chose : c’est tenir une forme assez longtemps pour qu’elle transforme le corps.

Cinema isn't about concluding. It's about stabilizing, stabilizing temporarily. Because concluding today often means closing too quickly. It means producing a slogan. It means making thought compatible with sharing. But stabilizing temporarily is something else entirely: it means holding onto a form long enough for it to transform the body.
