Chill Out with Myeongryun Jinsa Galbi
Established in 1398 during the reign of King Taejo, Jinsasikdang is a dining hall and butcher shop for the Confucian scholars of Sungkyunkwan (Myeongryundang). During the Joseon Dynasty, students needed 300 days of attendance at Myeongryundang to qualify for the Jinsa civil service exam, and their attendance was verified with a stamp at Jinsasikdang within Sungkyunkwan.
Myeongryun Jinsa Galbi is committed to serving genuine ribs, not those made by gluing together non-rib pieces. We achieve this by slicing real ribs and supplementing any insufficient portions with top-quality pork neck and shoulder, ideal for grilling. Myeongryun Jinsa Galbi offers a marinated grilled dish featuring a combination of pork ribs and premium pork neck and shoulder.
