Myeong group mainly focuses on the synthesis of biologically active natural products. Natural product synthesis plays an important role in the development of new drugs by providing structural and biological inspiration. For efficient natural product synthesis, we use biogenetically inspired method and chiral building block strategy. We also focus on the development of new synthetic chemistry methodology. The key strategies are the C-H activation and the stereoselective functionalization.
