I am a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, mentored by Professors Eric J Tchetgen Tchetgen and Xu Shi.
I earned my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego, under the supervision of Professor Wen-Xin Zhou, and my B.S. in Mathematical Science from Seoul National University.
My research broadly focuses on developing statistical methods for challenges commonly encountered in observational studies, using parametric and semi/nonparametric approaches. This includes (i) estimating causal effects in the presence of unmeasured confounding using valid or invalid proxy variables and (ii) addressing heavy-tailed and asymmetric errors in mean and expected shortfall regression settings.
Here is my CV and Research of Statement.
