Discussion Text
A discussion text is a type of writing that presents arguments for and against a particular issue, with the goal of helping readers consider multiple perspectives before forming their own opinion.
Purpose: To present at least two sides of an issue and to explore different viewpoints.
Passive voice is a grammatical construction where the subject receives an action, rather than performing it, often using a form of "to be" + a past participle (verb 3). The structure shifts focus from the doer to the receiver of the action, and it's commonly used to emphasize the action or object, describe processes, give a neutral tone in formal writing, or when the performer is unknown
