The Library Services Department aims to be one of the essential partners of the institution in providing quality education by being the school's information, research, learning, and multimedia research center.
To provide quality services through the provision of various library materials and resources most appropriate and relevant to the school community members.
The central purpose of the Library Services Department is to provide a learning environment that will support the curricular, instructional, and research needs of the DCLC by providing quality services and information sources most appropriate and relevant to the school community members.
1. To provide quality service to all the students, faculty members, staff, and administrators of DCLC as well as qualified outside users through the daily circulation of information sources, the rendering of readers’ services, and the conduct of user education and instruction.
2. To continuously build the library collection by acquiring information resources in all formats to meet the research and teaching needs of DCLC and allow its maximum use through manual and automated access.
3. To maintain and continue improving the library's physical facilities, enabling quality service and resource access and delivery.
4. To continuously evaluate the performance of the library department, its services, and personnel and use its findings to make action plans and future improvements.
5. To continuously become relevant to current library practices through the library staff’s active participation in various staff development programs provided within and outside the school.
6. To enhance library programs and services through active networking and linkages with other Libraries and library-related organizations.
